ARB 24 started its operations as a channel of the ARB media group in 2010. It began its broadcasting under the name Türkel TV but later changed its name to ARB 24 and continues to broadcast from its studios in the city of Tovuz, Azerbaijan. The channel's headquarters are also located in Tovuz. ARB 24 focuses exclusively on news-themed programming. It is known as one of the most-watched television channels in the country, providing uninterrupted news coverage 24 hours a day. While it initially started with terrestrial broadcasting, it has now successfully reached over three million viewers through satellite broadcasting.

In addition to news bulletins, the channel features popular analysis programs. Particularly, the program called "Dosye" offers analyses of significant political events and occasionally features special guests. This program has gained a broad audience across Azerbaijan. Although ARB 24 is watched throughout the country, the majority of its viewership is in Tovuz. The channel produces its internal productions in studios that are available nationwide.
